Yadessa Aga

Favorite Song

Shared December 17, 2024brought here by Yeabsira

This song holds a special place in my heart. Every time I want to pray for my generation, I play this song—it truly connects me to my prayers.

I believe this should be the goal of every Christian. It’s so moving and powerful that it makes you want to spend the entire day in prayer. It saddens me when people don’t take the time to listen to such songs because they are so touching and spiritually uplifting.

Don’t you ever wonder what it would be like if all of us—me, you, Redit, Yonata, Tesfa—could come together and talk about Jesus? And even in our church, I often think back to our dinner conversation about the things we do before marriage. I wish we would all love and respect Him fully. I dream about that a lot; it’s something we really need to pray for. We must look beyond ourselves and open our eyes.

Over the past two days, I’ve been reflecting on spiritual maturity. What I’ve realized is that we need to grow in our spiritual lives. We can’t stay in the same place, drinking milk—we need to move on to eating bones. I’m speaking for myself, but I feel I have a lot to work on, and I think our church needs us. God needs us.

That’s what comes to mind when I think of this song. It’s my favorite song and my favorite prayer.
