Today is Thanksgiving, a time to pause and examine ourselves. Let us reflect on our offerings and sacrifices as expressions of gratitude to God. More importantly, let us examine our hearts and the paths we are walking, because God’s Word reminds us that obedience is far better than sacrifice or offering. May this Thanksgiving be a sincere and truthful thanksgiving to God, demonstrated through an obedient heart.
Thank You, God, for everything You have done for us. We cannot count or finish naming all the blessings You have given us. We come before You with a broken spirit and a willing, obedient heart. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will help us, guide us, and lead us to live lives of faithfulness and obedience.
Our hearts matter most to You, people see what is outward, but You alone see what is within. Please help us to live the way You desire. Let Your grace cover us day and night.
