This is my confidence and my confession

These words mean so much to me these days, I feel them deeply. Above all, I don’t truly understand why He loves me and continues to love me so much. I have done nothing to deserve such love. Yet one thing I know for certain: He cares for me and loves me beyond words and explanation. I know this is the truth, I say it with confidence. He loves me deeply, and He loves you as well. As it is written in Romans 9:25–26: “Those who were not my people, I will now call my people. And I will love those whom I did not love before.” “And at the place where they were told, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”

I may not fully understand it, but I believe it and I know this: Jesus accomplished this for us. That is why Scripture says in Romans 10:4: For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in Him are made right with God.

This song reminds me of that truth, especially the final verse. It touches deeply those who truly understand and listen to what the Holy Spirit speaks to their conscience, confirming it within them. As Romans 9:1 (NLT) says: With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it.

Imagine how His Spirit speaks to us, fills us, and gives us assurance, confirming again and again that God loves us.

እንዴት ፡ እንደሆነ ፡ ባላውቅም ፡ ኧረ ፡ ለምን ፡ ለምን ግን ፡ ይህንን ፡ ብቻ ፡ አውቃለሁ ፡ እኔ ፡ መወደዴን ይህንን ፡ ብቻ ፡ አውቃለሁ ፡ የወደደኝን በጉያው ፡ በእቅፉ ፡ አስገብቶ ፡ እንደሰወረኝ አውቃለሁ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ሁልጊዜ ፡ እንደሚያስብልኝ

Prayer Lord, help us to be filled by Your love. You love us not because of anything we have done, but because of who You are. Help us grow each day and hold firmly to Your Word. Let our hearts always reflect on what Your Son has done for us. Help us to know Him more and more. Fill us continually with Your Holy Spirit, that we may be feed and guided by Him because this is the only way we know how to truly live. In Your only Son we believe. Amen.
